WEATHER REPORT: Are games still on? The question all of us need an answer to on a regular basis during the season due to our notoriously fabulous Cardiff weather!! N.B. In 2010 please do not ring Paul O Sullivan or any other member of the committee to get the answer to this question. In 2010 please call 07904196813 after 10:30am and you will get a recorded message (in League Treasurer Sohail’s dulcet tones!! telling you whether games are on or off for that particular night.

If you have any complaints on the quality of the new yellow balls please  speak directly to MGM about them. Similarly, if you have any issues with the council pitches please speak DIRECTLY to the council. All teams were supplied with a sheet with the council details on. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THESE COMPLAINTS TO THE LEAGUE AS IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE COUNCIL ARE MADE AWARE OF ISSUES DIRECTLY FROM THE CLUBS.

 

Please ensure result cards are sent to Andrew Williams (home team) and Aamir Sheikh (away team) WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE RESULT OF THE FIXTURE OR POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED!!!!  See Rule 35 below

 

The home and away club must submit a result scorecard to the Registration/Result secretary with full details of the composition of each team, the scores of individual batsmen, the analysis of all bowlers and signed by both captains, within three days of the completion of the fixture.

            Failure to comply with this requirement will result in a deduction of ten points from the offending Clubs League total.

As cup matches have now taken place please remember that any new players registered from after 12th May onwards WILL NOT be eligible for the cup competitions this year.
